Sara Lynn Evans (born February 5th in 1971) was the eldest of seven children raised by her parents at their farm situated in New Franklin Missouri. When she was five, music was a constant in Sara's life. At age 16 she was enlisted to perform at an Columbia Missouri nightclub for a two-year period. In 1991, Sara moved into Nashville Tennessee with the intention to be a Country artist. Musician Harlan Howard heard Sara as she performed a sample of one of his songs Tiger By the Tail at County Q Studios and decided she should sing his music. The band was signed by RCA. Evans came out with Three Chords and the Truth in 1997. A lot of critics regarded the album as a return to classic country style and included it on their Top Ten Albums of the Year lists. Unfortunately it did not get a lot of attention from country radio in the early days and neither of the three singles made the list of top 40. Lorraine Bracco..................... The film was rewarded by numerous prestigious awards which included the Academy Award. While she started out on feature films, she then took up opportunities in television shows and also achieved huge success with the latter.
